On Monday night, the Gents returned to Elderslie for the first of two consecutive home fixtures, the first being against Caldwell.
Elderslie’s lineup remained unchanged from the previous game against Ralston, except for the addition of Rhys McIlroy to Elderslie’s starting eight.
The night started well with comfortable wins for Jim McDonald, Craig Checkley and Robbie McLeod.
Steven Leckie halved his match, adding more valuable points for Elderslie. Still, the night belonged to Rhys McIlroy, who won the last six holes to secure another much-needed win for Elderslie.

The Gents return home for another fixture next Monday, 26th May, when they face Old Course Ranfurly.
