On Monday night, amidst some horrendous weather, the Gents host Old Course Ranfurly for the second of Elderslie’s run of home games.
Elderslie’s lineup consisted of Robbie McLeod, Craig Checkley, Ethan Lang, Steven Leckie, Jack Tourish, Mark McVeigh, Jim McDonald and Kenny Bell.
An excellent night for Elderslie, with early wins for Jack Tourish and Steven Leckie, who both won after 16 holes. Robbie McLeod, Craig Checkley and Ethan Lang also secured wins on the 18th, bringing it to five games won for Elderlsie.
Elderslie is third in Newton Shield League A at the campaign’s halfway point. They are also undefeated at home but have yet to score an away win.
The Gents travel to Ranfurly Castle on Monday, June 2nd, hoping to score their first away win of the season.
