Elderslie Golf Club is a private members’ club with over 600 members, located just 20 minutes from Glasgow in the historic village of Elderslie. We are inviting applications from individuals or groups interested in a franchise agreement to manage and provide catering services for our members, guests, private parties, visitors, and casual diners.
The club boasts a well-equipped kitchen, bar, dining room, and a lounge area with seating for over 100 people. In addition, the clubhouse features a newly refurbished south-facing balcony offering stunning views of the 1st and 18th holes. Further developments are also planned for the clubhouse.
This position requires the successful applicant to manage all aspects of the catering operation, ensuring a high level of food quality and exceptional service. The franchise offers numerous opportunities to increase revenue, including established member parties, social events, private hires, golfing groups, and society golf outings.
The ideal applicant will demonstrate the following:
- Relevant food preparation and Health & Hygiene certificates
- The ability to deliver high-quality food alongside excellent front-of-house service
- A strong sense of initiative, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a similar catering role
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with other club staff
- A willingness to work with club officials on menu selection, setting opening hours, etc.
